Whilst going through a house clearance due to us moving house (exciting yet stressful) I looked through old paperwork and I found some medical notes and mental health reviews. I was shocked yo be honest and felt I wasn’t looking at my records – that person was stuck and that lead to depression and anxiety, she was unhappy with everything.
But, I did start to rebuild and it was hard. Some things didn’t help and I didn’t have the strength to push. Yet, I now have the life I want.
A great partner, good friends, my own house, losing weight and I am successful as a coach.
We all need to make steps towards a goal, it doesn’t have to be big. But we all need help to encapsulate whay resources we have and which ones we need.
A great tool for that is NLP – during a coaching session I will know what tools to offer you and help you access these to achieve your goals.

You don’t need to keep doing that negative behaviour no more because you know the damage it is doing to you and others. I wonder if you could imagine what you could do if this negative behaviour was gone?
I used to bite my nails terribly and it happened all day, even when not stressed or anxious. It was a negative behaviour that I knew when it was going to happen. Since starting my journey I have stopped and they are getting stronger and longer. I know it worked for me so it will work for you.
You are never going to have this negative behaviour again. Your unconscious mind will take on the words I am saying and you will feel like you have control. No habit can stand up to the power of your mind.
Coaching is expensive? Emotional? Not worth it?

A New Week
I am sure we have all overindulged this weekend, it is normal. However like most festivities it is a few days of overindulgence.
Don’t feel guilty or shame over this, it is easy to do so but you are using your energy wrong.
I learned that taking emotions out of food means we enjoy it more and are less likely to binge. That must sound good? Yes.
That’s the wonder of coaching with ne, I can help you turn that guilt/shame into something that will enable you to feel energised.

Hope you have had a good week. I admit this week has been a challenge, that is why there has been a lack of posts. Chronic illness can impact you on a completely different level some days. But I’m nearly back to my usual self.
So, a question for you all?
How do you like to get creative? How does it feel?
Maybe you can share an example for all of us, there is no embarrassment or judgement here.
Music and Me
Most people can recall some music from their childhood and for me music was a very strong influencer in my life. My Dad loved music and was a singer in his younger years and I have memories of sitting there listening to The Who with him, my Mum loves music too and it was a family tradition to play music on a Sunday afternoon.
My first formal training in music was in my early teens where I learned the flute initially at Secondary School, this then changed to me learning the alto saxophone later on – which I succeeded with and became an accomplished musician gaining my qualifications and winning awards. You will see in my novels that I have had an on and off relationship with music but it has always been there. I remember my Dad often say “music will bite you again in the future” and it did.
I have started playing again and it is wonderful. Performing makes me feel like a centrifuge of activity that wants to explode, learning a new song is like falling in love and the warmth that it gives you.
What are your creative hobbies and how do they make you feel?
I use music often in my coaching as it is a way of determining your mindset and allowing free flowing thoughts to come about for you to grow. I really feel I have accomplished something when someone’s music changes over the sessions.

I’m buzzing, tired, happy and feeling relieved. I’ve been to #HERConference19 at Norwich and despite feeling rubbish I still went and loved it.
I listened to some amazing stories, met lots of new people and it has made me realise my reach with my novel and business.
Networking with women who are your wavelength and you will feel fantastic.

Sailing and learning to trust the process.
If you can remember learning to walk you are fortunate, but I want you to sit there for a moment and think of something you have learned that has challenged you.
Keep it in your mind and replay the steps, what becomes apparent to you? After a while come back to the present.
Learning a new skill is hard but worthwhile, remember that we all see things differently and what may be easy for some, it could be difficult for another.
For me, sailing was like that and has other challenges like learning where which halyard is and where goes where. But I learnt to trust the process and become present to it.
So, if you are learning a new skill be aware of how much you achieve and note how far you have come. Learning to trust yourself is a difficult task and as a coach I can help you with that.
Visualise the end goal and be aware of how it feels, looks, smells and write it down. Manifestation is a wonderful thing to trust in.

What can I do to help myself?
I get asked this a lot and it isn’t as difficult as you may think. And it is hard work but so worth it.
How many times gave you failed at your resolutions or your plans failed? I dont see this as failure it is just a slip up because you haven’t got the right support in place.
This is where coaching can come in – we can work together to achieve goals and detach the negative. I will let you explore yourself and help you see the real you.
