Rebuilding yourself

Whilst going through a house clearance due to us moving house (exciting yet stressful) I looked through old paperwork and I found some medical notes and mental health reviews. I was shocked yo be honest and felt I wasn’t looking at my records – that person was stuck and that lead to depression and anxiety, she was unhappy with everything.

But, I did start to rebuild and it was hard. Some things didn’t help and I didn’t have the strength to push. Yet, I now have the life I want.

A great partner, good friends, my own house, losing weight and I am successful as a coach.

We all need to make steps towards a goal, it doesn’t have to be big. But we all need help to encapsulate whay resources we have and which ones we need.

A great tool for that is NLP – during a coaching session I will know what tools to offer you and help you access these to achieve your goals.

Releasing your baggage

Let me tell you a story, there was a young twenty-something woman standing there on the station platform with her rucksack. It was a warm day and she knew that something was changing inside her, she took a deep breaths before stepping onto the train. She settled down into her seat and began to feel relaxed, however she was unaware at each station someone was placing something in her bag – making it heavier and heavier. The train seemed to take hours and the woman was feeling tired but she was nearly at her destination – nearly home she thought, the warm memories filled her mind and she was eager to get off.
She arrived at her destination and placed the heavy bag on her back, she wondered where the extra weight had come from but she still took the excess baggage and made her way home. Each step was becoming like lead and each time she stopped the lights got dimmer until there was nothing but darkness. She had some way to go and her energy was wearing thin, she didn’t know what to do. So she stopped and began to sob. What was she going to do?
Part of your mind is wondering how the woman allowed herself you get bogged down by others baggage when she was there. This is what I call overwhelm and it happens to us all at times in our life, this woman was me and I had taken on all the rubbish from others such as negative chatter, changes in my beliefs and life circumstances. And you will be surprised how quickly you get there.
I wonder if you can imagine a time when you have felt so present and at peace that nothing can stop you. You don’t need to be overwhelmed, you can control it and you will begin to feel more relaxed in yourself.
By using my own internal resources (that I never knew I had) and new tools from my journey I know that you will benefit from this too. Wouldn’t it be good to feel relaxed? Or maybe you would like to work on some goals and be in complete control.

New Life

A New Week

I am sure we have all overindulged this weekend, it is normal. However like most festivities it is a few days of overindulgence.

Don’t feel guilty or shame over this, it is easy to do so but you are using your energy wrong.

I learned that taking emotions out of food means we enjoy it more and are less likely to binge. That must sound good? Yes.

That’s the wonder of coaching with ne, I can help you turn that guilt/shame into something that will enable you to feel energised.

Remember it’s one or two days of excessive anxiety. Try and take ten minutes to yourself whether it be to have fresh air or if you can find somewhere quiet.
